Internet pornography viewing is viewing of Internet pornography that is problematic for an individual due to personal or social reasons, including excessive time spent viewing pornography instead of interacting with others. Individuals may report depression, social isolation, career loss, decreased productivity, or financial consequences as a result of their excessive Internet pornography viewing impeding on their social life.

In the year 2011 An estimated 40 million people a day in the U.S. logged on to some 4.2 million pornographic websites (this would have reached higher now in 2017) according to the Internet Filter Software Review.

As shown, we have a problem! A very Big problem. Our people are being eaten away by this spreading disease that becomes more and more destructive as well as popular. Family's are broken up by this, careers are being destroyed, people's time and money are being affected. The rot of isolation sets into the very core of humanity through this enemy that is destroying numerous people daily. I could say that only young peoples futures are being cut off by its power, but we can't really say that it only affects the youth considering this is a world-wide vile epidemic that consumes even the hearts of adults. This is something that kills the spiritual life of God. Like a dried plant that has been under the scorching heat and withers our spiritual lives wither! They become worthless for the use of God unless there is a real cutting away from this poison ivy that strangles the life from our spirits. We have to put the axe to the root of this problem!

In old traditional times even in some areas today we have horses that wear "Blinkers". Blinkers are what cover the horses eyes from seeing the rear or sides while traveling. A lot of horses pull a cart with people on it from one destination to another. It was vital that the horse didn't get distracted by the things around it. What we look at as Christians can have an affect on our spiritual life in Christ. We have to keep our eyes focused on God's path. Matthew 6:22 "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" Here we have an example of how our eyes can affect our spiritual bodies. Also we read in Matthew 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." WAIT!!  Did he just say that looking at a woman with lust we have committed ADULTERY?? Yes, he did! This goes for women as well.

I can remember when I used to go to my friends houses. We were 15 at the time. They used to live on an Estate and there would be a lot of teenagers who went to the park on the same road where my friend lived. The teenagers would meet up with boyfriends and class mates on a Friday/Saturday night. They would get a lot of alcohol and dress with intentions of flirting or maybe even having sex. My friends sometimes would look through the window and make sexual remarks about the females while smoking weed or drinking alcohol. Windows can be dangerous, especially when we look through the wrong ones. That's one of the dangers of internet porn! We look in 'windows' that destroy our connection with God. That take away precious time and steal our affection from the lover of our soul! We have to make sure the blinds are closed, the curtains are drawn, and that our eyes don't wander out into the place of temptation. Our fingers shouldn't click on the sites that open up a deadly trap of seduction for our hearts to be corrupted by the poison of this perverted snare. The Windows must be closed to prevent the Spirit of the seducer from filling our temple with the toxic deadly fragrance of lust! Proverbs 7:6 "At the window of my house I looked down through the lattice. 7 I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who had no sense. 8 He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house." If we are to overcome this filthy adulterous/adulterer spirit we must not walk down the path towards her house. We must be sharp and wise to overcome her deception! We must make sure that our hearts are rooted in strength, through prayer, reading, and accountability. If our hearts are not anchored in the depths of God then they will be drawn into the house of the seduced and stolen from our creator.

http://www.covenanteyes.com  is a website that I just happened to come across as I'm writing this. When as I clicked on it I read these words...

"One wrong click can change a life. Protect your family with trusted internet accountability and filtering"

Covenant Eyes!! Isn't that what we need to do? To make a covenant with our eyes before God? Job did it! Job 31:1 "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman. 2 For what is our lot from God above, our heritage from the Almighty on high?" When will we say to God "my eyes God belong to you. May they look to you always. Come and cleanse my eyes. Purify them. Forgive me, O Lord for when these eyes have wandered onto other things. In Jesus name. Amen"

Maybe you're someone who ain't a believer in Christ and have noticed the grip of this over your life. Or maybe you are seeing the destructive power of Porn over family or friend's? No matter who you are you are not alone. It's never to late to call upon God. To offer him your body as an act of obedience so you may find purity and peace. Just call on the Name of Jesus and you can be saved from this corruption. Find a brother or sister in Christ to stand with you in accountability. No longer will you feel the shame or guilt of looking at those images. Of clicking daily on those X-Rated sites to find a shallow satisfaction for a moment. Be satisfied with the Eternal and NOT the temporary things. You can have a taste of Eternity in these next moments, your eyes can be opened to the truth of Gods unconditional love for you! That shallow empty heart that you feel at times can be filled with the depths of Gods love and life. Open your heart to God by speaking out this prayer.

"Father I ask that you come into my heart, I need to know I'm forgiven and to find a new life in you, I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. I do accept you Jesus as my savior from sin and judgement. Amen."

The bible says in  John 8:36. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Jesus frees us from All things!! Embrace your freedom and enjoy the life and Journey before you!
